In Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay, police found a warehouse with a record consignment of cocaine. Information about this is transmitted by the agency Sputnik citing a statement by the country’s police department.
According to the ministry, at one of the warehouses in the capital region of the country, the police found bags of sugar in which drugs were hidden. According to the police, they contained more than 3,000 kilograms of cocaine, ready for shipment.
Last year, Paraguayan authorities found 2.9 tons of cocaine. Authorities said the large shipment was destined for Israel.
Earlier, the Spanish National Police, together with the law enforcement agencies of Great Britain and France, discovered a ton of cocaine on a sports yacht in the Atlantic Ocean. Drug traffickers from Latin America transported a consignment of illegal substances to Europe. The vessel has a length of 18 meters, a double bottom was developed. Law enforcers had to break open the yacht’s skin to get to the cocaine.
