A unified digital database for animals kept in shelters will be created in Moscow. This is reported on November 17 on website mayor of the capital.
“Personal profiles will include information about the species, sex, weight, color, estimated age and health status of each animal. There will also be notes on vaccinations, treatments for parasites and other veterinary documents, as well as on the passage of a socialization course, which allows you to establish good relations with a person, “- said in the message.
It is noted that the collected information will help not only track the fate of cats and dogs, but also look for new owners for them. In the future, the catalog will become public, everyone who wants to get a pet can use it.
It is planned that the electronic database will be posted on the mos.ru portal.
On November 2, it became known that the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation is developing new measures to support animal shelters. As reported TASS in the department, it is proposed to publish a single list of shelters with contacts.
“In addition, we propose to consider the possibility of including thematic publications on official media resources of well-known public figures who are members of the State Duma deputies, as well as to provide for the need to work with the public and volunteers on digital platforms, ”the Ministry of Natural Resources added.
In February, it was reported that the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation had prepared a set of rules that establish regulatory requirements for the design and construction of animal shelters.
According to the new rules, more than 300 animals cannot be in the shelter, if their number is exceeded, the land plots on which pavilions with enclosures for keeping dogs are located must have a zooveterinary gap between them – 60 m.
It is also necessary to have a treatment zone; during construction, the requirements for the layout of enclosures and much more must be taken into account.
