The winter program of the El Batel Auditorium continues to add new shows, which can be enjoyed in the coming months. Thus, on March 4, the feminist comedy ‘Calladitas estáis más guapas’ lands in Cartagena and on the 12th of the same month, Juan Carlos Ortega will present ‘Cosmos’. Already in May, on the 14th, it will be possible to revive a concert by the group Mecano, with the tribute ‘It costs me so much to forget you’.
‘Calladitas estáis más guapas’ is a multidisciplinary comedy show written, performed and directed by women that is touring Spain, landing at El Batel on March 4. Each function has the presence of its presenters: Jéssika Rojano, Sil de Castro, La María Rosa and guest comedians. A show recommended for people without complexes, capable of listening to funny truths outside of conventions and with a good dose of vindication.
Also in March, on the 12th, the Cartagena auditorium has scheduled another comedy show, ‘Cosmos’, with Juan Carlos Ortega. After ‘General Relativity’ and ‘La radio de Ortega’, he now comes with his most complete proposal, a cosmic experience. An incomparable cosmology, that of the talent and humor of Juan Carlos Ortega, which dates back to the Greeks, specifically to the first Greek yogurt.
So much so, that we can speak today of a true Carl Sagan of humor who, in his third theatrical show, promises to fill the auditorium with good humor and all his particular ‘Cosmos’ of Orteguian characters.
And already in the month of May, on the 14th, it will be possible to relive a Mecano concert with the best tribute band in the world. ‘It costs me so much to forget you’ is the tribute concert to the most important Spanish pop group. A show that offers the public an exact reproduction of Mecano, becoming a musical spectacle due to the physical and vocal resemblance between Belén Alarcón and Ana Torroja and because the songs are performed with 100% respect for the original arrangements, as well as the musical formation and instrumental.
Tickets can be purchased at the box office of the auditorium and at the Nuevo Teatro Circo de Cartagena, as well as on the website auditorioelbatel.es.
