Belara said in a post on her official account on the “X” platform: “Let us act, it is still possible to stop genocide.”
Bellara called on European countries to take four measures against Israel: “severing diplomatic relations with it” and “imposing economic sanctions similar to those imposed by the West on Russia.”
It also called for “a ban on arms exports to Israel” and “that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and all other political leaders who bombed civilians in Gaza be brought to the International Criminal Court.”
Hundreds of Hamas fighters infiltrated Israeli areas of the Gaza Strip on October 7, and this was accompanied by the firing of thousands of rockets towards Israel.
The attack killed 1,400 people, most of them civilians, according to the Israeli authorities.
Hamas is holding more than 200 hostages, including foreigners, according to Israel.
Since the attack, Israel has launched air strikes and artillery shelling on the Gaza Strip, with the death toll rising to 6,546, most of them civilians, including 2,704 children, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
Israel summoned about 360,000 people from the reserve, and mobilized its soldiers on the border with Gaza in preparation for a ground attack.
