Jammu: Pakistan is not deterred by its antics. Ceasefire is constantly being violated from across the border. Now the Pakistani Army opened fire on the forward posts located on the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which a soldier of the Indian Army was killed.
Officials said Halvadar Shivaji was seriously injured and later died in the firing at around 1 am from across the border in Lam area of Nowshera sector. He said that the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the firing from Pakistan and the firing continued for some time from both sides.

IED recovered from Kulgam in Jammu and Kashmir
At the same time, an IED was recovered by security forces on Friday from Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The security forces later deactivated him. A police officer said that an IED planted in a pipe was found near the local mosque in Shurat in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. The bomb disposal squad neutralized the IED on the spot. Nobody is harmed.
Pakistan is repeatedly violating the bilateral ceasefire agreement signed by both the countries in 1999. Since January 2020, 30 civilians have been killed and more than 110 injured in more than 3,200 ceasefire violations. On Thursday, 4 militants were killed near Nagrota toll plaza on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, from whose possession 11 AK rifles and other weapons were recovered. Police Chief Dilbag Singh said that these terrorists had recently infiltrated into Jammu and Kashmir through the international border in Samba sector.
