Daily Mail: a man broke his leg in Egypt and could not pay for treatment
A seriously ill man broke his leg while on holiday in Egypt and became stuck in a foreign country because of his money. This is reported by Daily Mail.
According to the tabloid, while 69-year-old Jeff Sydall was enjoying a family holiday in Sharm el-Sheikh, he tripped in the hotel and broke a bone. At the hospital he was told that he needed urgent surgery. However, the doctors were unable to carry it out and advised her to go home to the UK for treatment.
The insurance company offered the man and his family to fly at their own expense on a separate plane along with doctors and promised to reimburse the expenses later. However, Sydall did not have 40 thousand pounds sterling (5 million rubles) to pay.
