The Russian travel blogger visited Europe and admitted that some of the features of life there “make me feel uneasy.” She shared her story on her personal blog called “Like Travel Travel” on the Zen platform.
The first thing the author of the publication noticed was the dirt and garbage on the streets of European cities. “Oslo greatly disappointed me in this regard. It has many advantages and amenities for people, but somehow I imagined the capital of one of the richest countries in the world differently. In fact, it turned out to be dirty and unkempt, and in the very historical center,” the Russian woman described what she saw with these phrases.

The second thing that caught the blogger’s eye was poverty. “There are a lot of homeless people sleeping on the street, and visitors begging for money from passers-by and tourists. The picture is so-so, of course,” she explained.
The tourist was also struck by the sight of young people in Milan, who, in her words, “were glued to their phones, while sitting among their own garbage and leftovers.” And in Reykjavik, she met girls who dressed vulgarly and did not watch their figure.
Another feature of Europe that the author spoke about is well-groomed men and unkempt women. “This time I clearly saw a new trend, when men take very good care of themselves and look spick and span, while women, on the contrary, look sloppy and give the impression as if they just woke up, put on what they had at hand and went” , she was surprised.
In addition, the Russian noted that residents of Norway, Sweden and Iceland, especially women, drink a lot.
Earlier, the same travel blogger described some of the habits of French women with the phrase “in Russia, women don’t allow themselves to do this.” In particular, she was surprised by their abuse of alcohol and cigarettes.
