As you have been able to know elEconomista.es from Adif sources, there are no injuries despite the fact that inside it there were driving personnel dedicated to the maneuvers. The incident, according to sources in the sector, would have its origin in poor parking of the vehicle, which would have slid uncontrollably into the tunnel given the steep slope that exists since the Chamartín tracks.
For now, All affected railway services, both Renfe and Ouigo and Iryo, have been transferred to Madrid-Puerta de Atocha. From Renfe they point out that there are five trains affected at the moment (with origins in Murcia, Valladolid, Alicante and Valencia), relocating passengers to the Cercanías trains that connect both terminals to be able to resume their trips.
The definitive extent of the condition remains to be known, which could last for several days.
