An anti-drug raid this Monday in Cieza resulted in the arrest of four people and the seizure of almost 200 cannabis plants, according to sources close to the case. The operation, carried out by the investigation area of the Civil Guard, took place in a house in the old town of the city located on Morericas Street, in front of the West Health Center, where in addition to the plantation it was found that a electricity fraud, since an illegal connection had been made to the supply network.
The four detained people are scheduled to appear in court this Wednesday. This raid comes after two others that the Civil Guard carried out in nearby areas a little over a month ago. In one of them, the Benemérita entered a house located on Casas del Barco Street, next to the San Bartolomé La Era school, and seized about 200 marijuana plants, lights and other objects related to the cultivation of this type of plants.
On the other hand, within the framework of operation 'Lamparto', the Civil Guard dismantled a sophisticated cellar, in a country house in Cieza, where another 200 marijuana plants in an advanced state of growth were seized. As a result of the raid, a person was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of drug crimes and electricity fraud.
