Did the Egyptian TV and cinema star Dalal Abdel Aziz know about the death of her husband for decades, the comedy star Samir Ghanem?
A question that is urgently asked by Egyptians and fans of the star, about two months after her husband died of Covid-19 disease, while she is still receiving treatment in a hospital in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
A medical source, familiar with the details of the artist’s health condition, said that she had become certain of her husband’s death, especially since he had not visited her for this long, noting that she had asked to contact him several times before being answered by his inability to enter the hospital during this period.
The medical source of Al-Ittihad added that the artist’s family, Dalal Abdel Aziz, had not told her until this moment about the death of the great star Samir Ghanem for fear of a relapse of her health, which is slowly improving.
However, the visit of friends to her and allowing them to enter the intensive care room to support her while her husband, Samir Ghanem, did not communicate with her, made her sure of his death and his paradox after all these years they spent together and nothing separated them.
According to a medical source, the artist asked more than once about Samir Ghanem since her awakening and her ability to speak, but the constant response of her two daughters, the artists Donia and Emmy, is that he cannot bear admission to the hospital and is convalescing and the doctors ask him not to communicate as much as possible to preserve his health.
The source explained that this is no longer convincing for the great artist.
The artist, Dalal Abdel Aziz, and her husband were infected with the new Corona virus, after completing the filming of her Ramadan series, “Maluk Al-Jada’ana”, starring Amr Saad and Mustafa Shaaban, while her husband, artist Samir Ghanem, died on May 20, at the age of 84, affected by the virus.
