Kevin Vogt scored his first goal in nearly 10 years, which is the longest period in the history of the German Football League (Bundesliga) in which a player has stopped scoring goals.
Vogt scored a goal from a penalty kick for his team, Union Berlin, against Borussia Dortmund, which was his first goal in about a decade, according to the British company “Opta Sport”, which specializes in collecting and publishing sports statistics.
Vogt scored his goal in the 26th minute, which was his first goal in 275 matches, specifically since scoring with his former team Cologne against Dortmund also on October 18, 2014.
