150 passengers and 11 crew members were traveling on the aircraft, three of whom were injured.
At least three people have been injured after a plane forcibly landed on Tuesday at the Miami airport, United States, when the landing gear collapsed on landing and caused a fire.
The plane, from the Red Air company and coming from the Dominican Republic, was carrying 126 people, of whom three were injured and taken to a hospital, according to the US network CBS News.
When the Red Air flight approached the runway, the landing gear “collapsed,” according to the Miami Federal Aviation Administration in statements collected by the aforementioned media. The problem with the landing gear would have caused the fire.
In the mishap, the plane hit numerous objects and drifted into an area between the runway and the taxiway. Once the plane has stopped, the emergency services have evacuated the people who were on board and have put out the fire.
