A pack of stray dogs attacked a woman in Yekaterinburg. The incident is reported Telegram-Ural Mash channel.
The attack took place near a kindergarten on Sovetskaya Street. It is clarified that stray dogs tore the victim’s clothes and bit her legs. As a result, the woman will have to undergo rabies injections until the end of the year.
At the time of the attack, her Maltipoo dog was with the woman. First, one dog attacked the victim, and then other representatives of the homeless pack joined her. To protect her maltipoo, the woman picked it up. Soon, a resident of one of the nearby houses came running in response to the barking and drove away the angry dogs with a stick. After the attack, the victim wrote a statement to the local City Hall, where she was promised to solve the problem of uncontrolled stray dogs in the city.
Such attacks are not uncommon in Russia. Recently, a similar incident occurred in Yakutia. After a pack of stray dogs attacked a 12-year-old girl, the Investigative Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Sakha opened a criminal case. The victim received bite and laceration wounds to the upper and lower extremities, body and head.
