23 years after the release of Metal Gear Solid, in which speedrunners have scrutinized every inch of Shadow Moses in search of the best possible time to complete the game, a player accidentally discovered the greatest shortcut to adventure and it has in his first game to the game. Needless to say, its existence has turned the community of speedrunners of the Metal Gear saga, since the glitch saves up to 3 minutes of the final time.
The fact is that Boba, a video game streamer, was broadcasting her first game of Metal Gear Solid when she was assaulted by several guards in Communications Tower A. Anyone who has played the adventure will know that there is a fairly long section of the game later, which takes a lot of time from the tours … unless you do what in the community already called as the ‘Boba skip’.
This player turned around to confront the guards and took several shots, which Snake was pushed through a closed door -a glitch- and caused the game to take the player out of the base. Indeed, he had just skipped a good chunk of the game, as you can see in the video he posted on Twitter.
