For a couple of weeks it has been rumored that in February we will have a new State of Play. Well, today, January 31, PlayStation has confirmed a new edition of its online presentations for this week. However, you’d better not wait for information related to games coming to PS4 and PS5 in the future, as the new State of Play is only focused on Grand Touring 7.
Through the PlayStation Blog, it has been confirmed that the new State of Play will take place next Wednesday, February 2 at 4:00 PM (Mexico City time). This event will last approximately 30 minutes, where Grand Touring 7, and alone Grand Touring 7, will be the center of attention. This was what was said in respect:
“The first State of Play for 2022 arrives this week, and we’re all excited to show off just over 30 minutes of new Gran Turismo 7 details on PS5.”
The statement does not make a single mention of anything other than Grand Touring 7. That is, do not wait for news about Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok, or future games for the PlayStation. On related topics, PlayStation has reiterated that Kratos’ new adventure will arrive this year. Similarly, fans want PlayStation to buy a new studio.
Editor’s note:
This may sound like a huge disappointment to many. For weeks, rumors of a new State of Play pointed to a look at the news that the company would have for the first half of the year. However, focusing only on Grand Touring 7 It will be nice for the fans of this series, but not for the rest of the users.
