A native of Kherson, who was released from prison, spoke about friendship with Mikhail Efremov
A 27-year-old native of Kherson, who was released from the Belgorod colony, spoke about his friendship with the Honored Artist of Russia Mikhail Efremov, who is serving a seven-year sentence there, informed “MK”. An ex-prisoner named Stanislav admitted that the actor wrote a verse for his release, in which he even predicted his future.
The man said that he ended up in a colony a few months after Efremov, they soon met. “He was lying on the bed. I went up to him and said: “Hello, Uncle Misha. How are you?” So they began to communicate, ”Stanislav recalled, adding that he often gave the actor his poems to read.
Stanislav noted that Efremov has no privileges – he works like everyone else in the shop for collecting locks – “dogs” for clothes. According to the ex-prisoner, the actor communicates with everyone in a simple way, without arrogance.
In the colony, Efremov watches the football he adores, solves crossword puzzles with his cellmates and answers all letters. When asked when the actor has time to engage in creativity, Stanislav replied: “He has time for everything.”
To the release of Stanislav, the actor gave him the poem “Stas to be freed from Uncle Misha.” In the poem, Efremov advised his friend not to worry about being deported to Ukraine, since Kherson had become Russian. These words of the actor became prophetic for Stanislav, since shortly after his release he received a Russian passport.
Earlier, Mikhail Efremov spoke about the attitude towards prisoners. He admitted that he used to treat prisoners normally, and after his release from prison he will treat him even better, since everything has been done in the colony to correct a person.
The artist is serving a seven-year sentence for a fatal accident, which he arranged in June 2020 in the center of Moscow. Then, through the fault of a drunken actor, the driver of the car into which Efremov’s jeep flew into died.
