In November of last year it was announced that a youtuber was offering $ 10 thousand dollars to whoever manages to create a multiplayer mod to Breath of the Wild. Now just a couple of months later It has been revealed that someone has finally complied with this demand.
Recently, Alex Mangue, in collaboration with known users as Sweet and Ethi, published a video that shows us exactly what a multiplayer mode looks like for Breath of the Wild. Although there are still a couple of problems, This work demonstrates great potential that could result in a new lease of life for the acclaimed Switch game.

Currently, Alex Mangue and company are working to solve problems related to character synchronization and damage to enemies. Considering that this is still a work in progress, the $ 10,000 reward is most likely not in the hands of this team yet, but this may well be the case sooner than it seems.
On related topics, a mod transforms Final Fantasy VII Remake on the classic PS1. Similarly, Japan has chosen Breath of the Wild as the best game ever.
Editor’s Note:
Mods Breath of the Wild they are always one step ahead. Along with the traditional options that range from modifying some cosmetic elements and adding more content, we have also seen works that change the gameplay, or substantially expand the experience. It will be interesting to see what happens with the arrival of the sequel.
