The two Colombian boys managed to flee and went to the home of one of them, near the scene, to return in search of the group that had attacked them armed with two machetes of 30 and 35 centimeters in length.
A witness called 112 to warn of the confrontation with stones and knives that was taking place in the Cubana park. A Local Police patrol appeared at the scene and the agents managed to intercept the two Colombian men, 21 and 33 years old, with signs of having been brutally assaulted, on a nearby street. Likewise, the police officers seized their two white weapons in the search that was carried out on them. After the searches, and when they were proceeding to communicate the facts to the Chamber, they were surrounded by a crowd of between 50 or 60 people, most of them minors, who rebuked and tried to attack the two South American boys again, who had to be protected by the local police.
A Civil Guard patrol moved to the scene and the units were able to identify several people who had participated in the brawl. The young people attacked were treated for the wounds they presented in the emergency service of the municipal health center, one of them needing several stitches on his face.
So far, neither party has filed any complaint about what happened nor have there been any arrests for these events, although the investigations into what happened continue and arrests are not ruled out.
