Military expert Dandykin: The Russian Armed Forces will begin a hunt for Caesar howitzers supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Military expert, captain of the first rank of the reserve Vasily Dandykin said that the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation will begin a hunt for Caesar howitzers supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by the West. The specialist told Lenta.ru about the significance of this type of weapon.
Earlier, French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu announced that the Franco-German arms consortium KNDS would send 12 Caesar self-propelled artillery units (SPG) to Ukraine.
“This is a very serious weapon with a high firing range, full of controls and electronics. This is one of the best self-propelled guns in the world, but ours have learned to destroy them, a lot of these howitzers were destroyed. 12 self-propelled guns is an incomplete division. They will be hunted both from the air and from the ground. The Ministry of Defense constantly reports about the destruction of Caesar and similar Western self-propelled guns,” Dandykin explained.
At the end of September, it became known that the Russian military destroyed the French Caesar self-propelled artillery unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Tsukurino area near Selidovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Prior to this, in the Ugledar direction, operators of FPV drones of the Marine Corps of the Pacific Fleet (PF) hit the French self-propelled gun Caesar.
In June, KNDS head Frank Haun said Germany would not have enough tanks to defend cities such as Berlin and Munich.
