The project’s director, Shelly Shen, was inspired by a childhood trip she took with her mother to create the story for the title.
One more project that revealed Annapurna Interactive during his presentation, he was A Memoir Blue, a study title Cloisters Interactive, which will lead players to a narrative experience, fully counted speechless.
Instead of words, A Memoir Blue will tell your story with music and the expressions of your characters. We will control Miriam, a swimming champion who, on the day of her greatest achievement in life, begins to reflect on memories that he thought he had forgotten. “My memories as a child are of a wonderful trip to a city near the sea, but now that I am an adult, I know that my mother took me to that place to run away from home”, those were the words of Shelly shen, director of Cloisters Interactive, who was inspired by this story from her childhood to create A Memoir Blue.
Although the game was made about Shelly’s personal story, it quickly expanded into a world that players will be able to explore in detail. Various events of the true story of the director are still the main essence of A Memoir Blue, but the game also has other creative elements, which will help us understand what Shelly was going through.
Some scenarios they also come from Shelly’s childhood, like the train that she and her mom took during the trip, the lake where they rented a boat to admire the scenery, and the Department in which the two finally started a new life.
A Memoir Blue will tell your story without words, using the animated expressions of the characters, and the soundtrack, to hint at what is happening in the plot. The studio took extreme care of every movement and melody, to communicate effectively with the players.
A Memoir Blue is coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PS5, and iOS devices. The game has no release date.
