Head of the International Committee of the State Duma Slutsky announced progress in negotiations with Ukraine
The head of the international committee of the State Duma, Leonid Slutsky, noted significant progress in negotiations with the delegation of Ukraine. A video of his statement was posted on Telegram– channel RT.
“If we compare the positions of both delegations at the talks at the very beginning and today, we will see significant progress,” the deputy said.
According to a member of the Russian delegation, he expects that in the very next few days this progress will develop “into a common position of both delegations, into documents for signing.”
“This is of paramount importance, since the signing of these documents will form the basis for reducing the degree of tension during the military operation and, of course, saving many people,” the head of the parliamentary committee added.
The third round of Russian-Ukrainian talks took place on March 7 in Belovezhskaya Pushcha in Belarus. The Russian delegation is headed by former Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky.
