About 236 million people in the world have recovered from the emerging corona virus so far, since the virus appeared in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019.
These symptoms, known as “long-term Covid”, include feeling sick, difficulty breathing, chest and joint pain, in addition to losing the senses of smell and taste.
This study was prepared by the University of Pennsylvania, USA, and researchers reviewed 57 international reports on a large number of recoveries.
The fifty-seven studies provided data on 250,351 people who recovered from “Covid-19” disease, and they are not vaccinated, who recovered between December 2019 and March 2021.
The results showed that both adults and children may suffer from these long symptoms, and this means that the severity of the disease is not limited to the elderly and those with pre-existing diseases.
Those people who had long-term COVID-19 reported weight loss, fatigue, heat and pain.
According to the same source, one out of every five people who recovered from the Corona virus reported feeling a decline in the level of movement.
On the other hand, medical radiographs showed that there was something unusual in the chest in sixty percent of people who had recovered from Corona.
Meanwhile, a quarter of the recovering people reported difficulty breathing, while the study reported that chest pain and heart palpitations were the most common long-term symptoms among those recovering.
