A man in his 40s was taken to hospital after suffering an accident at work in a fruit warehouse in the Murcian district of San José de la Vega. The Emergency Coordination Center 112 Region of Murcia received a call at 12:51 p.m. reporting that the accident was unconscious while working with a toxic hypochlorite product on top of a machine, and one of his legs was trapped in it.
Members of the Local Police of the Murcia City Council, firefighters from the Fire Extinction and Rescue Service of the Murcia City Council, a Mobile Emergency Unit of the Management of Emergencies and Health Emergencies 061 and a technician from the Institute of Occupational Health & Safety. The toilets treated the wounded man at the scene, who had a closed bone fracture, and later transferred him to the Reina Sofía hospital in Murcia.
