29-year-old groom Connor Lorimer and his seven friends from the UK were relaxing on the beach of the prestigious Balneario Illetas club. One of the waiters at the club restaurant said that the men were drinking on the beach and disturbing other vacationers. For example, they tried to enter a restaurant in wet clothes. They were kicked out and the tourists separated.

The fight itself began with a harmless request a little later. The waiters asked the vacationing men not to throw garbage into the sea because they wanted to swim after a working day. The British tourists were so drunk that they reacted too aggressively. The brawl between vacationers and restaurant employees was caught on video.

One waiter said he called the police when he saw his female colleague being pushed into the sand by the men. Before the tourists were detained, they managed to wound two policemen. The groom, his best man and their friends spent two nights behind bars and paid a thousand euros (98 thousand rubles) to get out of custody in time for the holiday.

Lorimer was able to enjoy the wedding despite the incident. A saxophonist performed at the ceremony: his invitation for one night cost 350 pounds sterling (40.2 thousand rubles). In addition, the newlyweds gave each guest a bottle of alcohol engraved with the name of the recipient and the name of a player from the English football club West Ham United, which Lorimer adores. He and his beloved Lauren got married back in April, but they decided to celebrate only now.

The Palma de Mallorca court stressed that the case of the British tourists is not yet closed. They will be called to the meeting later.
