Lamborghini also took part in the 1000 Miglia 2024. And it did so in a very particular, in some ways beneficial way: the Toro car manufacturer has in fact lent to IEO-MONZINO Foundation an example of Urus S for the entire duration of the 2024 edition of the “1000 Miglia Charity for Research”, the initiative organized to support the IEO-MONZINO Foundation in the IEO’s medical-scientific research on female tumors.
Lamborghini at the 1000 Miglia 2024
The example of Lamborghini Urus S in question was characterized by a completely pink livery, and was used as “Pink Car“. For the occasion, the Super SUV from the Sant’Agata company was driven by a exceptional team which was composed of Warly Tomei, member of the board of the IEO-MONZINO Foundation and creator of the initiative, Dr. Viviana Galimberti, Director of Surgical Senology of the IEO, and Prof. Nicoletta Colombo, Director of the Gynecology Program of the IEO .
A Urus S to support research
For the entire duration of the event, a QR Code was displayed on the side of the Lamborghini Urus S “Pink Car” which allowed anyone who wanted to support the “Follow the Pink” project promoted by the IEO-MONZINO Foundation and entirely dedicated to women through a free donation. A dutiful clarification made by the house of the Bull itself: Lamborghini was totally unrelated to the “1000 Miglia Charity for Research” crowdfunding project and only granted a Lamborghini Urus S on loan for use to the IEO-Monzino Foundation.
