MO: 4 wounded Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces after a 6-day wait for evacuation
A group of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), consisting of four wounded, voluntarily surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces after a six-day wait for evacuation. This was stated by Ukrainian soldier Yuri Radomsky during interrogation, footage of which publish Russian Ministry of Defense.
“We surrendered. They surrendered voluntarily. We sat for six days, we waited six days for evacuation, we were three hundredth, but no one took us out,” the serviceman complained. He added that the group intended to surrender earlier, but their commanders persuaded them.
The wounded soldiers confirmed that they were receiving the necessary medical care while in captivity. They were discovered by the military assault brigade of the Southern Group of Forces in the area of the village of Ostroye near Krasnogorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
Previously captured Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Maxim Shevchenko advised Ukrainians to evade service by any means due to the difficult situation on the battlefield. He wished those already in the combat zone to escape.
