Mexico City.- A man died this Thursday morning from the explosion of a grenade in the town of Las Arenitas, in the Municipality of Eldorado, Sinaloa, while trying to remove some sacks that were blocking the road.
The device was between the sacks and when moving them it was activated and exploded, causing his death and a sinkhole.
Las Arenitas is one of the territories in conflict between two criminal groups of the Sinaloa Cartel. The “narcowar” that in the last 30 days has left 202 people murdered and 234 people missing in the State.
This morning, Governor Rubén Rocha supervised the commercial activity of downtown Culiacán, particularly in the Garmendia Market.
“I reiterate to everyone, as I did personally, that the work of coordination and attention to the security of families and establishments is active and deployed throughout the State,” he posted.
