A funeral home apologizes after a body falls from the hearse in the middle of traffic

An incident that occurred in Poland with a hearse has gone viral: a funeral home has had to apologize after a body that was being transported fell from the vehicle and it would end in the middle of the road.

The Hades funeral service, in the town of Stalowa Wola, southeastern Poland, was transporting the body when a “technical failure” in the lock of the vehicle caused the body to fall.

Polish media reported that a man driving down the street thought he had hit someone after seeing a body in the road. A image of the corpse lying on a pedestrian crossing where he had fallen has been widely shared by local media.

After the event, Hades Funeral Service has posted a statement on its website to apologize for the incident.

“It is with deep regret that we inform you that, as a result of an unexpected technical failure of the electrical closure of the tailgate of the hearse, an unfortunate incident occurred during the transport of the body of a deceased person, which does not reflect the high standards of our company”says the statement.

“We admit our mistake and take full responsibility for what happened. Our thoughts They are with the family of the deceased, to whom we informed immediately after the incident. We remain in constant contact with the family of the deceased, offering all possible support,” they continue.

“Our most important goal is to help families through the most difficult times in their lives, and this situation is deeply moving for us and everyone. “Our team is deeply affected by it.”adds the statement.

“We will do everything possible to ensure that these types of incidents do not occur again in the future. “We have taken immediate steps to ensure this does not happen again, including a full technical inspection of our vehicles and additional training for our staff,” they conclude.
