A fire in the kitchen of a restaurant on Lagasca Street, in the capital of Madrid, this Sunday caused the eviction of five neighbors of an adjacent building and the lockdown for a time from the rest of the block’s inhabitants, as much of the smoke that has been generated passes to them.
The fire, widespread throughout the restaurant, started shortly before 2 p.m. and caused a lot of smoke, according to Emergencies Madrid. Six Madrid Firefighters went to the scene and found the premises empty.
This smoke has spread through the patios that house the community facilities of the adjacent building Therefore, five neighbors had to be evicted and the rest confined to their homes. The incident did not leave anyone intoxicated, but a firefighter who was intervening for a dislocation was treated.
The fire has already been completely extinguished and the Firefighters are carrying out trefreshment areas of the propertyas well as removing fixtures and false ceilings.
