The chalet of footballer Borja Mayoral caught fire this afternoon while he was collecting the award for the best Spanish scorer in the 23-24 League.
The fire started around 2:30 p.m. in a bedroom on the first floor, for reasons that are still unknown. The neighbors have notified the firefighters, who have traveled to the house, located in a residential area in Pozuelo de Alarcón, together with the town’s emergency service, the National Police and the Local Police.
Luckily there have been no injuries. Inside the house were the footballer’s two dogs, which were immediately evacuated and the firefighters were later able to put out the flames.
At the time of the incident, Mayoral was at the Marca gala collecting the Zarra Award, which accredits him as the best Spanish scorer in the 23-24 League. An award that he has shared with the footballer Álvaro Morata.
