A car ran over a cyclist in Beniel this Saturday morning and caused the rest of the group accompanying him to fall. The person responsible for the accident then fled, leaving them injured. A call to the Emergency Coordination Center 112 of the Region of Murcia, made at 12:06 p.m., reported the event, which occurred on the Zeneta highway, in the direction of El Mojón.
Local Police officers, who are investigating who was responsible for the accident, and three ambulances immediately traveled to the scene, two of which were for assistance and belonging to the Emergency Management Department of the Region of Murcia. Upon arrival, the paramedics treated four cyclists with injuries of varying degrees, who were transferred to the Reina Sofía hospital in Murcia.
