The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has demanded that the company Endesaresponsible for the maintenance of the electrical networks that run through the municipality’s land, a rurgent review of all these facilities after the death this Tuesday of a dog while walking through the San Vicente Ferrer street.
This death occurred when the animal passes through a manhole cover located on the aforementioned street, so the City Council asks the electricity company to explain to the citizens what happened in this casesince the maintenance of these facilities corresponds exclusively to Endesa.
The mayor of Santa Cruz, Jose Manuel Bermudezhas demanded from the electric company “a immediate response to this situation arising from the apparent poor maintenance of these facilities that run through the soil of our city”.
The mayor is forceful about this situation: “The security of our neighbors, and their pets, as in this case, is above any other circumstance that can be alleged by Endesa, which is why we demand that an immediate review of all the aforementioned facilities be carried out.
