According to the information provided through a statementthe Laviderm Lavi Salipure Peeling Chemical Peel, marketed by the company Lavigor 7000, is distributed mainly in clinics and its use is intended for professionals.
Now, “It cannot be ruled out that it has been acquired by other users“. This is why, after carrying out the market control actions that health authorities regularly carry out, the AEMPS has made the decision to remove this productas well as the cessation of marketing and the recovery of all units that have been distributed.

With all this, it is worth noting that the use of salicylic acid in cosmetic products is regulated in the Annex III of Regulation 1223/2009of the European Parliament and of the Council, on Cosmetic Products. Among other things, the substances that cosmetic products cannot contain are detailed, as well as the restrictions established with each of them.
