The fire started around 4:20 p.m. After receiving several notices, the Emergency Coordination Center mobilized firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire Extinction and Rescue Consortium, environmental agents, a fire engine fire brigade, a helicopter with an extinguishing technician and a helicopter transported forest brigade to the site. , members of the Civil Protection of Mazarrón, a patrol from the Civil Guard and another from the Local Police. A second helicopter from the General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies was also alerted, although its intervention was ultimately not necessary.
