The Ministry indicates that the incident has already been resolved, so that the banks can now proceed with the payment
The nearly 19,000 teachers of public education in the Region of Murcia usually receive their payroll on the 25th, but this time the payment is being delayed due to a “computer problem”, as explained on Monday by the Ministry of Education. The incidence is already resolved, according to this department, so that the banks can now initiate payments. “We hope they arrive between this Monday and Tuesday,” sources from the Ministry detailed. The delay has generated complaints in recent hours, especially because “the teachers of the concerted school have already been paid,” said Diego Fernández, of the Workers’ Commissions union (CC OO). However, Fernández downplayed what happened, “because all teachers will receive their salary before the 30th.”
The general secretary of Anpe, Clemente Hernández, explained to LA VERDAD that “some things have been modified in the organization of the concepts that appear in the payroll, and this has given rise to this computer incident.” Hernández showed his confidence in a prompt resolution of the problem.
Regarding the fact that the concerted teachers have been paid, the Ministry pointed out that the payment “goes through two different systems, one for civil servants and the other for non-civil servant personnel.” «The mismatch in the application of the signature has occurred in the system that affects civil servant teachers, which has affected the files. But there is no intention. It has no more relevance than the delay of one day, ”they insisted from this department.
