A civilian resident died in Donetsk as a result of the shelling of the Voroshilovsky district of the city by the armed forces of Ukraine (APU) from the Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). This is reported in Telegram channel Headquarters of the Territorial Defense of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on Sunday, November 27.
“As a result of shelling by Ukrainian MLRS BM-21 “Grad” of residential areas in the Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk, a civilian was wounded,” the Headquarters said in a statement.
Residents were urged to stay home as much as possible.
Earlier on the same day, it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the center of Donetsk. It was about at least six arrivals.
On Sunday night, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported three attacks on the republic in an hour and a half. So, at 23:35, Ukrainian militants fired three 155-mm shells at the Kievsky district of Donetsk, at 00:35 — three 155-mm shells at the Kuibyshevsky district, and at 01:05 — three 152-mm shells at Yasinovataya.
A day earlier, the DPR’s territorial defense headquarters reported the death of two civilians of the republic as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kyiv region of Donetsk and Gorlovka.
On February 24, the Russian Federation launched a special operation to protect the Donbass, against which Kyiv has been conducting military operations since 2014.
