A building housing a restaurant in southwest China’s Chongqing collapsed on Friday after a suspected gas leak explosion, killing at least 16 people, state broadcaster CCTV said.
On Saturday, CCTV added that 26 people had been removed from the site as of Friday midnight (1600 GMT), 16 of whom had died.
