Who hasn’t dreamed of owning a supercar at least once? Some one day were able to fulfill the desire of a lifetime, others instead had to be content with admiring the racing cars that sometimes whizzing on our roads, or buying scale models able to reproduce the dream cars in every detail. And so who has long dreamed of buying a Lamborghini Countach LP5000 S of 1982 will soon have one at a more than reasonable price. Only $ 30. Obviously this is not the real supercar of the Sant’Agata Bolognese house but a die-cast scale model of the iconic del Toro car produced by Hot Wheels.
Last March 24th the specialist company has opened a vote for members of the Red Line Club, asking if they wanted a new die-cast model of the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS, 1971 Datson 510, 1991 BMW M3, Volkswagen T1 Roadster or 1982 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 S They voted a total of 12,549 people and it was the famous Italian supercar to be the most popular. Red Line Club members then had the opportunity to select the color for the car and had the opportunity to choose from Antifreeze, Bright Orange, Bright Yellow, Spectraflame Ice Blue and Shadowcrome. Spectraflame Ice Blue turned out to be the club members’ favorite, garnering 36.52% of the votes. The members of the RLC were also able to choose between six different wheel models, finally selecting the Real Riders Modern wheels you see in the photo.
Hot Wheels has released some renderings and not the final appearance of the model but it is easy to see that this is not the usual toy car but a specimen full of details. For example, you can see the well-modeled front, the doors with the scissor opening, the famous rear wing of the Countach and all the same badges as an original LP5000 S.
