The Russian army shows no sign of slowing down its military offensive against Ukraine. Mykhailo Fedorov, deputy prime minister and minister of digital transformation of the country under attack, had announced in recent days the creation of a IT army made of hackers, with the aim of guaranteeing essential services to the citizens remaining in the capital Kiev and to attack the enemy forces. Also for this reason, Fedorov himself he had turned to Elon MuskTesla’s CEO: he had asked him to activate in Ukraine the network services provided by Starlink, the constellation of satellites launched into orbit by the South African manager.
“While you are trying to colonize Mars, Russia is trying to occupy Ukraine! While your rockets successfully land from space, Russian rockets attack the Ukrainian civilian people! We ask you to supply Starlink stations to Ukraine“, wrote the Ukrainian minister on his official Twitter profile. And the same social platform was used by Musk to provide him with an answer: “The Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals coming soon “. Fedorov’s request, which was born from the ever-growing ones, was therefore accepted internet communication problems registered in Ukraine after the invasion by Russia: we remind you that Starlink manages a set of over 2,000 satellites, which guarantee access to the internet globally regardless of terrestrial connections.
Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route.

The question and answer between Fedorov and Musk continued further, and always on Twitter, with the first that wanted to thank the CEO of Tesla for agreeing to help Ukraine. “Starlink terminals are coming to Ukraine! – we read in one of his recent tweets in response to that of the South African manager – Thanks Elon Musk, e thanks to everyone who supported Ukraine!“. We will now see what concrete contribution the Starlink system can make to Fedorov’s country.
