The account of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense was one of the accounts that published this call as the fighting raged around the capital, Kiev.
“In order to confuse the enemy who is illegally moving in Ukraine, we call for the removal of signboards with street numbers and names in cities and villages,” the Ukrainian Defense Ministry wrote in a tweet.
The account of the Ukrainian Road Signs Agency went to the same thing, with the addition of curses and insults to Russia, according to the British newspaper, “Daily Mail”.
And this ministry put their curse on some electric signs in some highways, for example, insults to a Russian warship, after the killing of Ukrainian soldiers on Snake Island after they refused to surrender to Russia’s forces.
“We will do everything in our power to cleanse Ukraine of the Russian occupier as soon as possible,” said a Ukrainian citizen named Ukraftodor.
“We have dismantled road signs on all roads in the country,” he added.
He called that the priority in removing the signs is for each of the: guiding signs, and the names of residential areas.
He said he handed over the stripped banners to local authorities and passengers.
He considered that the Ukrainians by this act help the Russians to go immediately to “hell”.
