New year, new helmet. Mick Schumacher is preparing to start his second season in Formula 1 with the Haas F1 team at the wheel of the VF-22, a car already presented but only with fictitious lines. There is great anticipation to see her on the track starting from 23 February, the opening day of the 2022 pre-season tests, with the young German who will take to the track with a new helmet.
Also made by Schuberth, Schumacher’s helmet presents substantial differences from last year and from previous ones, when he was still racing in the preparatory series.
The only part of the helmet that remains unchanged is the front one, with the vertical band starting from yellow and then fading to green on the chin guard. From there on, the new version is completely different from the previous ones.

As you can see in the comparison proposed just above between the old helmet (left) and the new one (right), practically everything has changed from the side to the back.
The German flag has disappeared, exactly as it disappeared on father Michael’s helmet in the Ferrari years (with the helmet turned all red), and now in its place there is a dark blue background at the bottom where the sponsor Under Armor and the Prancing Horse are placed. Rampant.
Above, however, the background turns black and acts as the stage for the Haas logo. But the most important part is the one behind it. The turquoise background hosts a splendid black dragon. The cap remained green, but the stars reappeared, the same number that Michael had when he raced in F1, which symbolized his 7 world titles won in his career.
