Guasave, Sinaloa.- The treasurer of the Municipality of Guasave pointed out that they found alleged irregularities in debts and payments to suppliers, in addition to receiving a debt of 6 million 600 pesos before CFEbecause they would have been illegally connected to the electrical network in Bellavista, after placing some lights in the past administration.
Although no evidence was provided to validate the comments made, Marco Antonio Báez Rochín commented that since September 2021 an agreement was made with the CFE, however, it was not determined how said debt was going to be settled.
Irregularities
He pointed out that they recently received a document, which is an agreement corresponding to the aforementioned date, where they had a total fine of 6,600 pesos, because the parastatal had detected irregularities in public lighting.

He explained that the Federal Electricity Commission found around 100 lamps in Bellavista that were connected illegally and seven in El Coloradito.
“They were hung directly; A study was carried out by the CFE and the expense corresponded to an equivalent of 6,600 pesos,” the official insisted.
Agreement
He added that the agreement was signed by the past administration, where it recognized the debt, however, they did not pay it, since it was not established how the debt was going to be settled. He mentioned that they are waiting to have a dialogue with the parastatal to negotiate and correct said debt in a timely manner.
He explained that the current administration is not in a position to pay off the debt in a single payment.
“What I do know is that they are public lighting lamps and that this is a responsibility of us as a City Council”, clarified the municipal treasurer.
He also explained that people have come to collect, but there are no accounting records, as is the case of a paint supplier, who indicated that they owed him 180 thousand pesos. He clarified that they have the receipt where they did receive the paintings.
He argued that according to the accounting records, said debt is not found, therefore they cannot pay without having evidence.
“I can not pay if I do not have a file and evidence as such in my accounts,” said Báez Rochín.
He insisted that the corresponding investigations be carried out.
