The title came out in 1994, sharing the genre fever with games like Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger.
There are countless games released over the years that never officially made it to the world, resulting in millions of gamers not getting a chance to try them out. One who suffered from this situation and now we can cross off the list is live a livean RPG originally released for Super Nintendo in 1994, which we will enjoy in its remastered version for Nintendo Switch, the next July 22.
The original game came out in 1994 for the Super Nintendo. The trailer shows the approach that Square Enix took to relaunch this title, choosing the style HD-2D made popular by Octopath Traveler. This RPG has a very original style of battle, and implements mechanics through its narrative, based on its numerous protagonistsand thus separating itself from other iconic installments of the time, such as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI.
Apart from the new visual aspect that this first announcement focused on, we do not know if this reissue of Live A Live will have new functions or mechanics, since the trailer focused our attention on its history, which takes us through time and allowing the player to meet different timesfrom prehistory to the distant future.
The recent Nintendo Direct spoiled RPG fans a lot, showing not only the return of this installment, but of another classic like the popular Chrono Cross, and even ending the broadcast with a long-awaited project: Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
