The Abu Dhabi Hydroville Championship will start next Friday on the Corniche of the capital, and will last for three days, with the participation of a group of international players from the marine sport of Kite Surf.
The tournament is organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club in cooperation with the Emirates Kite Surf Committee, headed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, also head of the Sailing and Rowing Federation.
Kite surfing is one of the sports that has developed greatly in the past years and its championships have achieved great successes in terms of participation and community interaction as well, especially since surfing is an interesting sport for many in society in general, not just game professionals.
The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club supports all events organized by the Emirates Kite Surf Committee, with the aim of serving the game as well as serving the antelope community, which loves this game, which combines sports and entertainment in a distinct way.
The club has previously organized more than one tournament, the most important of which is the Abu Dhabi Kite Surf Championship, which is held annually on the capital’s Corniche and is jointly organized with the Game Committee.
