For his part, Dr. Majul Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the University of Sharjah, expressed his happiness at graduating the second batch of the Professional Diploma in Community Leadership, in cooperation between the University of Sharjah and the Khalifa Empowerment Program “Aqdar”, which is organized by the University’s Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development, noting that the program aims to prepare groups of young people. Young women, mothers, and social workers, through training and qualifying them to become leaders in their communities, and lead the awareness-raising process for a number of societal problems.
He said that the program focused on many axes, including the Emirati identity and its moral values, social phenomena in changing societies and their study curricula, leadership skills in the field of crises and disasters, and legal legislation in the Emirates.
