To the delight of all mobile players who love to throw their heads down into the maze of the most famous battle royale, NVIDIA recently announced that, starting next week, Fortnite will be made available on GeForce NOW with a limited-time closed beta for iOS and Android mobile devices, all broadcast streaming via the Safari web browser on iOS and the GeForce NOW app for Android.
According to the company, all GeForce NOW members will be able to sign up for the beta, the ultimate purpose of which is to test the capabilities of the servers NVIDIA and the responsiveness of the new touch controls. Going into more detail, the company stated:
Fortnite is coming via streaming to iOS and Android mobile devices with touch controls. Together with the extraordinary team of Epic Games, we have worked to shape a touch-friendly version of Fortnite for mobile devices in the cloud.
While PC games in the GeForce NOW library work best when a gamepad is paired with mobile devices, the introduction of touch controls created by the GeForce NOW team now offers many more options for Fortnite players.
Starting today, GeForce NOW members will be able to sign up for the chance to participate in the limited-time closed beta of Fortnite on mobile devices. If you’re not a member yet, sign up for a GeForce NOW membership and sign up to become eligible for the closed beta when it kicks off next week.
Upgrade to a Priority or RTX 3080 subscription to receive priority access to game servers. A paid GeForce NOW membership is not required to participate.
As you may have noticed by reading above, at the moment it has not yet been declared the day in which the beta will start, but the company has made it known that all admitted members will be notified over the next few days, so for now we can not help but wait for news.
