The list obtained the absolute majority in the first voting process with a total of 109 votes out of 116 votes who participated in the electoral process, while the second list headed by Mohamed Ibrahim received 6 votes, while one vote was excluded to invalidate it.
The winning list included Jamal Allam as Chairman and Khaled Al Darandali as Vice Chairman, and members Muhammad Helmy Mashhour, Muhammad Abu Al-Wafa, Hazem Imam, Muhammad Barakat, Ihab Al-Koumi, Amer Hussein and Dina Al-Rifai.
Allam previously chaired the board of directors of the federation between 2014 and 2018, and was succeeded by Hani Abu Rida, member of the executive office of the International and African Federations, before he submitted his resignation in June 2019 after the failure of the Egyptian team in the African Nations organized by Egypt and bid farewell to the final price at the hands of South Africa 0-1 .
FIFA decided to appoint a quinquennial committee headed by Amr Al-Janaini in August 2019 to manage the federation, and it continued until December 2020, and was succeeded by a tripartite committee headed by Ahmed Mujahid that continued until this January.
