Another feature coming to Microsoft Edge.
Microsoft continues to work to attract users to its web browser, Edge, and it does so by adding several features and improvements, the latter of which is one of the most striking. If we have already seen how it allows you to capture PDFs, facilitate voice typing and play with Stadia, now Edge receives something different, which is direct access to play different titles available on the web.
The function games panel it can be enabled or disabled in the “customize toolbar” settings and, if enabled, appears as a button in the toolbar at the top right of the Edge browser. Clicking this button displays the panel. The games are divided into various categories.
The games panel contains numerous HTML5 games, including Chess, Microsoft Solitaire, Microsoft Sudoku, Merge Fruit, Microsoft Jewel, and many more. Since these games are based on HTML5, users can play them within the browser itself, without having to download them. Additionally, users can navigate between different game categories via the new Games panel in Edge. Categories include Microsoft Classics, Arcade, Boards and Cards, Puzzle, Sports, and more.
The new Games feature in Edge is currently available to a small number of Microsoft Edge Canary users, which means it’s still in testing. We expect Microsoft to roll it out to more beta testers over the next few days, before adding it to Edge’s stable build.
