From 2022, the functions of providing citizens of the Russian Federation with services for some types of support will be transferred from the social protection authorities and the Rostrud to the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR). This was posted on website FIU on Wednesday, December 29.
Changes, in particular, will affect payments for children, families of killed servicemen and security officials, as well as victims of radiation as a result of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the “Mayak” association and other similar events. In particular, a separate block of measures is intended for the last category.
The fund stressed that Russians will not need to go anywhere in order to reissue payments and continue to receive previously assigned benefits. This will happen automatically. If payments have not yet been assigned, starting next year you will need to apply for them to the Pension Fund.
The statement also says that the conditions for the appointment of measures do not change and in order to receive them, you still need to submit an application. However, with the transfer of the functions of payments to the FIU, the process will gradually be simplified.
“In particular, due to the fact that the fund will confirm the right to support measures according to the principles of social treasury, based mainly on its own data and information that the FIU will request from other departments,” the document says.
In addition, from 2022, the families of dead servicemen will not have to provide payments every six months to confirm utility costs;
It will be possible to apply for payments not only to the PFR offices, but also to the MFC. The processing time for most payments will be halved, applications to the Pension Fund will be considered from five to 10 days, the transfer of money will take the same amount of time.
It is noted that the Russians will receive the first payments to the Pension Fund for the transferred measures on January 17. This will be the early delivery of benefits for January, which takes place in February on the standard payment schedule.
Earlier, on December 28, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation reported that a new service has appeared on the State Services portal, with the help of which Russians will be able to apply to the Russian Pension Fund for receiving payments for caring for a disabled citizen. The service can be used by non-working Russians who take care of disabled citizens, live in the territory of the Russian Federation, and also have a confirmed account on “State Services”.
On November 9, the Ministry of Labor announced that insurance and social pensions in the event of the loss of the breadwinner for children under 18 years of age, from January 1, 2023, will be assigned from the date of the death of the breadwinner. You do not need to submit an application.
