Last June it was announced CRIMESIGHT, a mystery simulation game for PC license plate KONAMI which, at least on paper, seems to be really interesting. Since that moment, however, the game has disappeared a little from circulation, ending up in oblivion, at least until today.
With a brand new trailer, the company wanted to touch on various topics to better introduce this title and offer some updates on the development. The video explains the following points:
- What is CRIMESIGHT?
- A Full-bodied Tutorial – The explanations for the various game mechanics are now divided into individual sections. Sherlock’s deductive phases are now explained in more detail, and a UI feature has been implemented that shows who the possible villains are from each character’s point of view. A training mode has also been implemented where the game controls the AI that is not chosen by the player.
- Quick Match – A mode that allows you to face fast matches that count the number of players you prefer.
- Added two new stages – Added the new “Mr. Josiah Amberley’s House ”and“ Briony Lodge ”.
- BGM – The AIs that will be assigned to us will be accompanied by a specific BGM. Musical arrangements were also created that change as the match progresses.
- New languages – In addition to English and Japanese, the game now also supports other languages such as Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Various – The team is working on balancing the game, perfecting the user interface, and making various adjustments.
Apparently, however, we will have to get used to long waiting periods: the arrival of a new video with as many updates on the state of the game is set for spring 2022.
